I’ve just discovered that my email penpal has passed. Jean was a fan of the show General Hospital and I’m the costume designer for GH. Quite a few years ago, I received an email from Jean sending very nice thoughts about our show and the work that I do on it. I responded and throughout the years, Jean would email and check in with me. We developed a sweet email pen pal relationship. If there was a concern about fires here in California or etc, Jean would always reach out to make sure that my family and I were ok. She even sent Sees Chocolate to me as a Christmas gift. She kept me up to speed on her husband Don and she raved about her family. I’ve thought of Jean for a few months because I hadnt heard from her and I had a feeling that she was gone. I discovered today that she and Don have passed. My condolences to Jean’s family
