Chris "CJ" Benson

Chris "C.J." Benson of Pinebluff passed away in his home on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at the age of 25.
Chris was born in Moore County on April 11, 1996, and attended Pinecrest High School. he was a loving & sensitive young man who loved believing in magical things. He adorned his room with a wide range of things Harry Potter, galaxy posters, and was an avid player of Call of duty and other online games. Music was his best friend. He enjoyed many things fishing, driving, target shooting, thrift shopping. He also enjoyed paling around with his G Maw, talking junk with his brothers, chatting on his iPhone with mom & sister for hours.
He leaves behind his mama, Vickie Benson of Pinebluff; his mom, Christina Bean and step-father, James both of Aberdeen; his brothers, Damian Benson and Jordan Prevatte of Pinebluff; his sister, Hailey Manship of Dunn; his niece, Jocelyn Chavez, and a host of family & friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
