Kevin Kirk Locklear of Laurel Hill passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the age of 34.

Kevin was born in Moore County on June 26, 1987. After he graduated from Scotland County High School he worked
for St. Joseph of the Pines. His passion for flowers and gardening led him to begin Locklear's Creation. It allowed him
and his spouse to share their love for interior and floral design. He loved his family and spent the last few years
working with Deb’s cleaning service, a family-owned business. During that time his infectious personality made a huge
impact on all of their clients. Kevin's heart was as big as his smile. He was willing to give anything to help those he
loved no matter the cost. He enjoyed time at home with the love of his life and enjoyed his gardens and dog, Zeek.
He found comfort in listening to the waves at the beach and eating good home cooking.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert, his grandmothers, Mandy and Dorothy, grandfathers Daniel and David,
uncles Harold and Gary, and aunt Carolyn.
He leaves behind his husband, Eric of the home; his mother, Sylvia Lowery-Taylor, and her husband, Paul of Wagram; his brothers, Stephen and Joseph of Wagram, Gregory of Aberdeen; his nephew, Rory; stepsister, Ashlynn of Sanford; uncle, Ray and his wife Lisbeth of Raeford, step-father, Kenneth Small of Gibson, and a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
