Philip Conner McCrimmon

Philip Conner McCrimmon passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, in his home at the age of 61.
Philip was born in Moore County on September 26, 1960, to the late Lawrence and Carolyn Williams McCrimmon. After finishing high school, Philip went on to complete his course of study to be an electrician and later began his own business. Although Philip was a licensed electrician, he specialized in many different trades. His family describes him as a Jack of all trades and had a kind heart for animals. He was a loving man that had unconditional love for his children. Philip was the kind of person that was always eager to help anyone in need. Although he was a die-hard Panthers and Tarheels fan, he found the most joy in playing golf.
He leaves behind his children Desiree McCrimmon, Amanda McCrimmon, and Phylis McCrimmon; his brother, Lawrence "Bobby" McCrimmon and his wife, Elaine; his sister, Gayle McCrimmon; his brother, Neil McCrimmon and his wife, Terri; two grandchildren; and many friends throughout the county.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Crumpler Funeral Home-Aberdeen, 40229 US 1 Hwy, Aberdeen, NC 28315 between the hours of 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm
I attended high school with Philip and every memory brings a big smile to my face. He was a total laugh-riot, down for all adventures, and one of the nicest guys I had the pleasure of being friends with! Rest peacefully, my friend!

So sorry to hear of Philip’s passing. He was a fun, upbeat person. I always enjoyed talking to him when he came into the office where I worked. He was warm, friendly, cordial, a pure joy to talk to. And I Loved his hair. He had the best hair of any guy I knew, for sure. Your Memorial Gathering this afternoon was lovely. I think Philip would have been pleased with how you chose to remember him.

I was so saddened to hear about Philips passing. I met him years ago when he and Scott came to my business and did some electrical work for me. Since that time they continued to do anything I needed done whenever I called them. After Scott passed Philip continued on and we became good friends with a great working relationship. I recently moved my business to a new location and Philip worked long and hard to get us up and running. There is now a huge hole in my heart and in the business that he used to fill. I may never find another like him again. I, my wife and all the employees here will miss him greatly. Rest In Peace my friend.
