  1. During the time that I was honored with knowing Mr. Raney, he always treated me like family. In the late ’70’s as a middle schooler (and friend of his son Robert), I spent many nights sleeping over at the Raney house and even on a vacation with them. Truly a wonderful man and always a perfect gentleman. Mr. Raney was certainly a man that many should aspire to be. It is truly saddening to know the loss his family is suffering and I will keep you all in my prayers. Thank you Mr. Raney for being such an accepting and inspiring man.
