James "Jimmy" Smith

Jimmy Smith of Aberdeen went to be with his Lord and Saviour on January 10, 2022, at the age of 67.
Jimmy worked for 32 years at Burney Hardware in Aberdeen leaving a legacy of a good name, and a service to God & humanity.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Ashley Heights Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
I always thought a lot of Jimmy. He was the first person in our Church League Softball to hit a homerun over the fence. He was a fine man.
When I think of Jimmy I will always remember a kind man who always greeted me with a smile and a kind word. He was very helpful to me when I visited burneys. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. My heart goes out to you Elaine and your family. You are in my prayers
