Steffanie Roseanne Walter

July 10, 1972 ~ October 25, 2023
Steffanie Roseanne Walter went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the evening of October 25th, 2023. She passed away after a five-year battle with cancer at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.
Steffanie Walter (née Thomas) was born and raised in Moore County and graduated from North Moore in 1990. Steffanie met the love of her life, Brian Walter, in 2009 and they got married in Hawaii where they lived for a brief period of time.
Steffanie was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2018. She underwent multiple radiation and chemotherapy treatments that worked for a while. She later had two major surgeries that altered her way of living.
Nevertheless, she persisted. She continued to bring joy to her family and everyone around her. She never backed down from a challenge whether it involved baking or a battle of wits, she was always a contender.
Her will to live remained steadfast until the very end when she passed with her loved ones surrounding her.
She is survived by her husband Brian Walter, mother Roxanne Thomas, brothers Jeff Thomas, and Matt Thomas, daughters Hannah Singer, Haley Brown, and Katelyn Brown, along with 6 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father Stephen Thomas and brother Christopher Thomas.
A visitation for Steffanie will be held on Saturday, November 4 at Ashley Heights Baptist Church from 10 am to 11 am with a service held immediately after. She will be interred at Williams Family Cemetery in Eagle Springs at 1 pm.
I will always, always, always remember your mom bringing all 3 daughters to church when they were young. Having 4 daughters myself I knew what time it takes to get 3 dayghters up and out of the house for church. She won my heart that day as well as her 3 daughters, Hannah, Katelyn and Hailey.
I love you girls!
Your mom was always a beautiful blessing and so are y’all.
May God’s peace and presence surround you, Brian, and your family. May beautiful memories saturate your minds â¤ï¸
Our prayers are with the family during this time, and the days ahead.
Sending my thoughts and prayers!!! Sonya Thompson Crissman
Steffanie and I attended culinary school together at SCC. She worked at the Coach Light and her sweet daughters got to drop by and help. Was always enjoyable having them there. Loved her dearly and Heaven will be a much better place with her as an angel waiting for us all to join her. Prayers to her family for healing.
