Ethelene Davis

Ethelene Garner Davis 92, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Autumn Care of Biscoe.

She was a native of Moore County, a daughter of the late William and Alice Brown Garner.  She graduated from Westmoore High School.  Ethelene was a retired seamstress from Southern Garment  and a member of  Acorn Ridge Baptist Church.  She was a loving daughter, sister wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, crochet and word search puzzles. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death  by husband:  Dennis; daughter: Donna; sons: David, Darrell, Tony; siblings: Grace Cockman, Flora Cagle, Edna May, Texie Garner, Donarose Ritter, Russell Garner, Hardy Garner, Coolidge Garner, Herbert Garner. 

Ethelene is survived by daughter: Joanne Thompson and husband Howard, of Robbins; son:.  – Tim Davis, of the home; all the pieces of her heart-grandchildren: Jeremy Davis, Robbins, Judy Chapman, of Ellerbe, Angela Brown, of Asheboro, Scott Thompson of Kings Mountain,  Mandy La Borde, of Asheboro; great-grandchildren: Anthony, Natalie, Aiden, Nicholas Paisley, Jessaca, Makayla, Jaylan, Julius, Garrett; many nieces, nephews and friends.

 Graveside service 2 PM, Thursday, April 24, 2025  at Dover Baptist Church, with Dr. John Williamson officiating.
