Frances L. Gardner

Frances L. Gardner, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Seven Lakes Assisted Living.

Born in Sharpsburg, Maryland, Frances was the beloved daughter of the late John and Ella Mae Kindall. She had a zest for life and a heart full of joy. Frances found happiness in gardening, dining out, collecting antiques, and especially in listening to and singing gospel music. Her love for the holidays was unmatched—she took great pride in decorating her home, with her favorite times being the Fourth of July, Halloween, and Christmas.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Gardner, Sr., a proud 33-year U.S. Navy veteran; her daughter, Deborah L. Kepple; her son, Charles E. Kolb; and her siblings: Catherine Blakney, Beulah Beckner, Helen Eyler, Louise Faulhaber, Mae Thompson, Cornelious Galanti, Elizabeth Taylor, John L. Kindall, Jr., Joseph S. Kindall, Charles C. Kindall, and Frank S. Kindall.

She is survived by her loving children: Patricia Norris and husband David, John F. Kolb and wife Sylvia, Susie Allen and husband Don; and her stepson, Robert R. Gardner, Jr. and wife Jean. Frances was also blessed with eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren who brought her much joy.
