A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Pennsylvania Avenue in Southern Pines.

Dear Cindy, Elizabeth, and family. My sincerest sympathy in the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, (and my cousin). I am thankful we connected after so many years when I did the family history in 2024. You will continue in my thoughts and prayers. I know for sure that he loved his family very much.

Mr. Yonkman was one of our favorites at Teeters. It was truly a pleasure seeing him in the store each time.
