Tarena June Dunn

Tarena June Dunn, age 56, passed away on January 10, 2026. She was preceded in death by her brother Amos Ritter, her father Eli Ritter Jr., and her beloved granddaughter.

She is survived by her mother, Carrie Ritter; her brother, David Ritter; her three children; and her eight grandchildren—seven granddaughters and one grandson—whom she loved and often spoke of with pride.

A quiet soul, she cherished her time at home and shared a close bond with her mother. Tarena loved her children and grandchildren fiercely. She loved the Lord, and her family takes comfort in knowing she now has victory in Jesus and rests in peace.

Friends and family are invited to honor her memory and share a meal at the Smyrna Family Life Center, 203 Smyrna Church Road, Robbins, NC on Sunday, January 25, 2026, beginning at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to Smyrna Church, 203 Smyrna Church Road, 203 Smyrna Church Road, Robbins, NC 27325 in honor of her memory.
