Vicente Guzman Torres

Vicente Guzmán Torres, age 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2026, at his home with his loving niece, Luz, by his side.

Vicente was born on January 16, 1942, to the late Vicente Torres and Juana Guzman in Utuado, Puerto Rico.  

He came to the United States in 1957 and worked as a refrigerator mechanic in HVAC-R for 20 years. Vicente loved traveling, working on cars, and spending time with family and friends, but especially enjoyed helping anyone he could whenever needed.

Vicente is preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers, and 4 sisters.

He is survived by his niece, Luz Vazquez; brother, Herminio Torres; sister, Carmen Torres (Lolly)  of PA and PR; Godson, Hector L. Vazquez of Coral Springs, FL; nephew, Benjamin Vazquez of Pinebluff,  and many more nieces and nephews all over the United States. 

A private family celebration of Vicente will be held at a later date.
