Bobby Spangler

ABERDEEN
Bobby Edward Spangler, Jr., age 74, died Wednesday at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM Saturday at Fairview Baptist Church with the Rev. Donny Gillis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County, he was the son of the late Robert Edward Spangler and Mary Talbert Spangler. He was a veteran of the National Guard and retired from Pinehurst Resorts Maintenance Department.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mildred Sturdivant Spangler; a daughter, Jennifer Van Boskerck & husband, Sean; two sisters, Patsy Garner and Louise Marossites; one brother, Freddie Vann Spangler; and two grandchildren, Hayley & Zackery Van Boskerck.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00-8:00 at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home.
