Johnnie McArthur Hussey 69, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM Friday August 30, 2013 at Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Reverend Tal Madison officiating.
Mr. Hussey was a native of Moore County. He worked at Ithaca Industries for many years. He loved growing things in his garden and sharing these with others. He was a son of the late Coy and Virginia Callicutt Hussey and was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Hussey.
Johnnie is survived by his daughter: Olivia Claudette Hussey Morgan and husband Stoney Anthony Morgan of Star, sisters: Esther Williams and husband Farrell of Eagle Springs, Carolene Moore and husband Tommy of Robbins, brother: Darrell Hussey and wife Louise of Robbins, he also leaves behind grandson, Landon Reece Hussey and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday , August 29, 2013 at Kennedy Funeral Home and other times at the home of Esther Williams, 131 Noah Rd. Eagle Springs, NC 27242
Kennedy Funeral Home is assisting the Hussey family.

  3. sorry to hear about mr. Hussey passing he was a great man and I enjoyed working with him at ithica,,he always made me laugh..my mother linda horner always said that he remined her of Conway Twitty..he will be missed…praying for the family

  4. So sorry to hear of the passing of my former supervisor. I really liked Johnnie because he had a good spirit about himself. If I could say onething to the family,it is to remember the good times and how much he loved you.
