Ralph Lee Stout, 82, died Sunday March 3rd, 2013 at FirstHealth Hospice House.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8th at Sandhills Assembly of God with Rev. Bryan Rainbow officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9th at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Bluefield, WV.
Born December 19, 1930 in Falls Mills, VA he was a son of the late Hascue and Etta Hart Stout and was preceded in death by his sister, Wilma Galbraith and two brothers, John and Deral Stout.
Mr. Stout was a retired Locomotive Engineer for the Norfolk-Western Railroad.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patsy Blackburn Stout of Whispering Pines, two daughters, Vicki Poe and husband Anthony of Bennett and Sharon Henderson and husband Robert of Fuquay Varina, two sons, Samuel Stout and wife Kathy and Joseph Stout all of Whispering Pines, four sisters, Doris Hall and husband Jack of Whispering Pines, Phyllis Herrick and husband Calvin of Prestonsburg, KY, Charlotte Stout of Richmond, VA, and Wanda Powell of Mechanicsville, VA, one brother, Warren Stout and wife Carol of Richmond, VA, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the Celebration of Life service on Friday at Sandhills Assembly of God.
