Sadie Currie Moffitt 96, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at FirstHealth Hospice House, Pinehurst, NC.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM, Friday, March 1, 2013 at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend Todd Moore and Reverend Michael Weber officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home of Ann Moore.
Mrs. Moffitt was a native of Anson County. She worked in the textile industry. She was a daughter of the late John L. and Blennie Stutts and was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W. Moffitt and six brothers and sisters..
Sadie is survived by her daughter, Ann Moore, of Robbins, two grandchildren: Leigh Ann Bryant and husband David, Reverend Todd Moore and wife Leigh Ann, three great grandchildren: Katie, Benjamin and Cory.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Tabernacle United Methodist Church , P O Box 395, Robbins, NC 27325.
