Mozelle R. Barber, age 87 died Wednesday (December 19, 2012) at her home in Carthage.
Funerals services will be 11:00 am Saturday at House of the Lord in Vass conducted by the Rev. Tom Everett and David Reynolds. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Coleman Willis and Minnie Myrtle Bailey Barber. For many years she worked for Ithaca Industries. She was preceded in death by her husband John Henry Barber and a grandson Kevin Barber.
She is survived by: son Tony Barber of Lakeview; daughters Diane Barber, Cathy Southerland and Darlene Maness all of Carthage; grandchildren Dwayne and Stanley Barber, Chris and Eric Barber, Heather Barber, Crystal Thurman and Travis Yarborough; 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home and other times at the home.
