Mrs. Hallie G. Priest

Mrs. Hallie Gwyn Priest, age 86 of Priest Hill Rd., died Thursday (May 25, 2006) at Pinelake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carthage.
A native of Moore County, she was a daughter of the late Elijah Gwyn and Katie Tilly Gwyn. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Patrick Priest in 1999.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P. M. Sunday at Priest Hill Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Archie Stevens. Burial will follow in Cross Hill Cemetery in Carthage.
She is survived by: two daughters Jean P. Marsh and husband Billy of Carthage and Mary MacLean of Southport; five sons Daniel P. (Shorty) Priest, Jr. of Carthage, Huey R. Priest and wife Cindy of Carthage, Owen F. Priest and wife Christine of Seagrove,
N. Doug Priest and wife Angie of Carthage and Boyd Lathen Gwyn and wife Mary of Sanford; a sister Lorene Hallman of West Sacramento, Calif; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three special care givers Ruby Mangum, Joyce Perryman and Toni Jackson.
