Alex H. Frye, age 86 of 125 Frye Road died Sunday (January 14, 2007) at his residence.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Summer Hill Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Lacy Frye. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late Benjamin Lemuel and Mary Brown Frye. He was a farmer and carpenter all his life. He was preceded in wife Una Mae Livengood Frye and two brothers Bud and Rad Frye.
He is survived by: daughters Carol Garner and husband Donald of Carthage, Elaine Frye of Siler City, Anne Ellis and husband Gary of Ramsuer, Donna Brown and husband Mike of Asheboro; son Lacy Frye and wife Charlotte of Apex; sisters Mary Ellen Williamson and Dorothy Thomas both of Carthage; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home on Carthage and other times at the residence.
