Gordon Wayne Hoeppner, Jr. 49 died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at his residence.
Memorial service will be held 5 PM Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Robbins First Baptist Church, Robbins, NC, with the Reverend Kenneth McNeill officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service and at other time at the home
Gordon was born in Norfolk, Va. Gordon loved the Lord. He worked as a carpertery. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching NFL football and NASCAR racing.
He was preceded in death by brother: Robert Gene Long, father in law Harry Cheek.
He is survived by wife Sherry Hoeppner daughter: Beth Laws, of Lexington, sons: Steven Hoeppner, of Maryland, Wayne Hoeppner III, of Maryland, Klavin Hoeppner, of Robbins, Larry Davis, of Robbins, daughter: Tonya Wall, of North Carolina, father: Bobby Long, of Robbins, mother: Peggy Long, of Robbins, sister: Gindy Craig (Kevin), of Seagrove, brothers: Danny Hoeppner (Robin), of Robbins, Joey Eskins (Sandy), of Ohio, sister-in-law Harriet Garner (Josh), of Seagrove, 8 grandchildren, 16 nieces/nephews, 9 great nieces/nephews, mother in law Janett Nelson, of Robbins.
Kennedy Funeral Home is assisting the Hoeppner family.
