Herbert Louis Franklin, age 86, of Carthage, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at his home.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Culdee Presbyterian Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Joseph Washburn.
A native of Harrison County, Ky., he was a son of the late Brent and Sadie Franklin. He retired from the United States Air Force after 29 years of service and worked for 10 years in civil service at Fort Bragg . He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Franklin..
He is survived by daughter: Jo Ann Wicker, of Carthage; brother: Roy Dean Franklin, of Cynthiana, Ky.; grandsons: Charles Herbert Wicker and Bobby Wicker.
The family will receive friends at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM.

I know it’s late but I just saw this,I wish I could have spent more time with him but being in the airforce also,I was always a good distance from him,we talked alot on the phone and he was the main reason I joined the airforce him and aunt Elsie were always fun to be around. Love you guys
