Reba Jarman
September 11, 1926 ~ March 8, 2014
Reba Noble Jarman enjoyed her 87 years as a wife, mother, stepmother, and grandmother.
Reba grew up in Deep Run, NC. After marrying John Robert Jarman she spent most of her adult life in Jones County, NC. During those years she was mother to three step-daughters, Elva (Taylor), Zelda (Hawk), and Lois (Bender) then as a mother to Dianne (Greene). During Reba's best years she served in many volunteer roles at Maple Grove Methodist Church and was active in many Community activities. After the death of John Robert, Reba relocated to Southern Pines. Reba will long be remembered for her passion for her family and commitment to her church family.
Reba is survived by the four daughters named above, one son-in-law, Ben Greene, seven grandchildren, Keith and Dennis Taylor, Teresa Penny, Susan Nelson, Beverly Humphrey, and Robert Greene, ten great grandchildren, and five siblings: Ralph Noble, Ray Noble, Eunice Whaley, Magdeline Smith, and Joe Noble.
A graveside service will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston, NC at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 11, 2014.
