Helen Jean Royal Voss, 87, of Whispering Pines, NC went to be with the
Lord on Thursday, May 1, 2014.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, May 12, 2014 Guilford Memorial Gardens, 6000 High Point Road, Greensboro, NC with the Reverend Chuck Plowman officiating.
Born October 18, 1926 in Greensboro, she was the daughter of the late
Harvey and Ethel Royal. She married Ned T. Voss on Nov. 14, 1946 who
preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 2010. Helen was preceded in death
by brothers, Gilbert Royal and Robert Royal. Survivors include a niece,
Phyllis Royal Beach of Albemarle, a niece Cindy Royal Mann (Mike) of
Winston-Salem and a nephew Robert "Bob" Royal (Virginia) of Raleigh.
Survivors also include a brother-in-law Charles Ray Voss and his wife
Patricia F. Voss of Thomasville, Ga.
She and her husband lived in Greensboro, Atlanta and Whispering Pines,
North Carolina. They were of the Baptist Faith.
Fry and Prickett funeral home in Carthage is assisting the Voss Family.
