Michael David Fields

Michael D. Fields, age 62 of Southern Pines and Aberdeen died Tuesday (March 17, 2015) at Peak Resources - Pinelake in Carthage.

 

A graveside service will be held 4:00 PM Friday March 27th at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

 

A native of Moore County he was preceded in death by his parents Alexander Poe Fields, Jr. and Rachel Bowling Caddell Fields and brother Thomas Fields.

 

He was a veteran of the US Air Force and had worked as a jet engine mechanic and later in Textiles. He enjoyed music and played the guitar.

 

He is survived by: his sister Shirley Cooper of Yorktown, VA; brother Alex Fields, III of Greenville, SC.

 

Powell Funeral Home and Crematory of Southern Pines is assisting the Fields family.
