Lois Allen Davis

Lois Allen Davis, 89, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 surrounded by her family at FirstHealth Hospice House.

 

Graveside service will be held at Dover Baptist Church Cemetery, 3:00 PM on Sunday November 15, 2015, with the Reverend Chris Bouldin officiating.

 

Lois was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she enjoyed time spent with her family. She worked in textiles for many years. Lois loved caring for her home and flower gardening.  She was a daughter of the late Charlie and Meda Comer Allen and was preceded in death by sister:  Ruby Davis; brothers: Edward, Alton and Ray Allen.

 

Lois is survived by her sons: Jerry L. Davis and wife Effie, of Seagrove, Kenneth E. Davis and wife Juanita of Asheboro, Randy L. Davis and wife Beverly of Aberdeen, sister: Gladys Young, of Jacksonville, NC.  She has 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

 

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 PM, Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Kennedy Funeral Home.
