Larry R. Phillips

Larry R. Phillips, age 74 of Robbins died Friday (February 19, 2016) at a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at First Baptist Church in Robbins conducted by the Rev. Kenneth McNeill. Burial will follow in Flint Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born in Randolph County to the late Eli Carson and Bertie Phillips Baird, he was a retired Sergeant with the NC Department of Correction. He was currently working security for Holmes Building Systems in Robbins.
He was preceded in death by his brother Roy Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife of 28 years Vergie Dial Phillips, a daughter Bobbie Pollut and husband Michael of Meridianville, AL; sons Santini Dial of Franklinville, Brandon Phillips and wife Heather of Robbins, Brian Phillips and wife Teresa of Rockingham, Steve Phillips of Laurinburg; sisters Rogerlin Wright of Ramseur, Cynthia Brewer of High Falls, Brenda Spinks of Robbins; brother Hoyt Phillips of Greensboro; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Kennedy Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 Sunday and other times at the home.
