Hannah McLean

Hannah Austin McLean, age 65 of Carthage died Sunday (July 10, 2016) at her home.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist Church conducted by Pastors Eugene Ussery and Scott McInnis. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Following the service the family will receive friends in the fellowship hall.
Hannah was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and worked as a CNA doing private duty nursing.
Hannah was such a loving friend to all to who met her. To some, she appeared to be a tough woman, but she still had a heart of gold. Her faith in God was beyond measure. Through all situations, she trusted him and that was her testimony. Hannah loved praising God and shared her love for God with people regularly. She instilled that same love for God in her children and it is evident. A lady with her loving heart will surely be remembered for years to come.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph McLean.
She is survived by her children Faith McLean of the home, David Hodgin, Keturah Lahocinsky and Paul Hodgin all of Sanford; sisters Patricia Freeman of Wadesboro, Sandra of Texas; brother Jimmy Austin of Sanford; grandchildren Hannah, Akasha, Ash, Joseph and Ashley; great-grandchildren Grayson and Penelope.
