Christine Simmons Ritter 80, died Friday, July 22, 2016 at Peak Resources Pinelake Nursing Facility.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 25, 2016 at Crossroads Baptist Church, Robbins, NC, with the Reverend Mike Holyfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Smyrna United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30.
Christine was a native of Randolph County. She was a 1953 graduate of Elise High School. Christine worked in the textile industry for many years, retiring from Ithaca Industries. She loved the Lord and was a dedicated wife and mother. Christine enjoyed cooking and caring for her yard and flowers. She was a daughter of the late Peter and Rosa Brown Simmons and was preceded in death by husband: Charles Linville Ritter; sister: Gloria Elaine Simmons; brother: Dillard Simmons.
Christine is survived by son: Jeffrey Ritter and wife Sherry, of Robbins; brother: Danny Simmons, of Asheboro; many relatives and friends.
