Pauline Wallace Marley 88, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at  FirstHealth Hospice House, Pinehurst, NC., surrounded by her family.  

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 10, 2017 at New Testament Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Reverend Darren Richardson and Reverend Kenneth McNeill officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  

“Granny,” a native of Moore County, was a huge gift from God sent in a petite package.  She was a textile worker, poultry farmer, and most importantly a homemaker who loved and was loved by so many.  She taught her family many valuable lessons that will last countless years to come.  

Pauline was a daughter of the late Lewis and Annie Savannah Barber Wallace and was preceded in death by husband, James P. Marley; siblings: Muriel W. Troxler and Paul Wallace.

Pauline is survived by daughters: Wanda Smith and husband Bobby, Dianne Moore and husband Benford; grandchildren: Pam Duncan, Dana Vest, Crystal Vaughn, Ginger Harrell;  great grandchildren: Savannah, Camrey, Dawson, Camden, Paul, Luke;  brothers: Rufus and Lester Wallace and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Kennedy Funeral Home and other times at the home.
