Ilse Tomczak

Ilse Tomczak age 92 of Cary passed away Friday (July 21, 2017) at Sunrise of Cary.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Apex Funeral Home conducted by Pastor David Cook and Pastor Gary Ruba. Burial will follow at Apex Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Apex Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

 

Ilse was born in Germany on December 20, 1920, to the late Walter and Emma Frueling and came to America at a young age. She worked various jobs until she settled in Sacramento California where she worked as an x-ray technician for 30 years. After retiring she moved the Cary to live with her sister and brother in law Ursula and Walter Ruba who preceded her in death.

 

She is survived by nieces and nephews Karin von Maltitz and husband Eddie of South Africa, Norbert "Bert" Ruba and wife Libby of Apex, Gary Ruba and wife Janelle of Martinsville, IN.
