Donald Sherman, age 82, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
Memorial gathering, at his home, will be 11 AM, Saturday, August 12, 2017. Burial will be at Fernwood Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH at a later date.
Donald was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 24, 1935. He graduated from Hamilton Central High School, Groveport, OH. He spent his early years working on a farm and then held jobs at Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus OH, Union Carbide, Charleston WV, Armco Steel-Mining Division, Whitesville WV, Brown-Bovari, Canton OH and retired as maintenance superintendent at the Biscoe Foundry, Biscoe NC. Donald enjoyed gardening, bird watching, woodworking and traveling . He was a son of the late Alan and Mary Groce Sherman and was preceded in death by wives: Margaret Heckman Sherman and Sally Noel Sherman.
Donald is survived by his children and a grandchild.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
