Johnny Baxter McCaskill, 54, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019.
Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 15, 2019 at Pine Rest Cemetery, with the Reverend Gary Melchin officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 at Kennedy Funeral Home and at other time at the home of daughter Jessica Ray.
Johnny was a native of Moore County and a graduate of North Moore High School. He loved horses and shared that passion with many friends especially during Farmer's Day. He was a son of the late Daniel and Ethel Yow McCaskill and was preceded in death by son Chris McCaskill and brother Roy Yow.
Johnny is survived by daughter: Jessica Ray and husband Joshua; son: Johnny McCaskill, Jr. and fiance' Summer Hussey sisters; Betty Hurley (Richard), Peggy Snelling (John), Ann Ritter (Charles); brother: Ike McCaskill (Harriet), Earl McCaskill (Lawanda), and Jimmy Yow; 9 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Kennedy Funeral Home is serving the McCaskill family.
