Heather Beck, age 45 of the Howell Center in Charlotte died Monday, May 3, 2021 at Novant Health Medical Center in Matthews.
Born in Asheville on June 9, 1975 she was a daughter of Fred and Nancy Hensley Beck. Heather had a sweet spirit and was deeply loved by her family. She spent most of her adult life in group homes because of her lifelong physical and mental disabilities. When she was young she was chosen by UPS as their poster child.
In addition to her parents she is survived by two brothers Thomas Beck and Zack Beck both of Charlotte.
A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Shane Owens.
Fry & Prickett Funeral Home is serving the Beck family.
