Odis Donald Poole

Odis Donald Poole, 84, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital.
A native of Montgomery County, he was the son of the late Lindo and Rebecca Long Poole. Odis served his country in the United State Army. He worked in the textile industry for many years, until his retirement. Odis was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially boating and fishing. Odis loved the Lord and was active in his church. He was a good neighbor to everyone, since moving to the camp ground he was always helping others. Odis was friendly and had a lot of friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Jarman Poole; son: Charles E. Poole; grandson: Travis Conklin; 5 siblings.
Odis is survived by daughter: Margaret Conklin; sons: John Poole, Keith Poole and wife Jean; grandchildren: Jason Poole, Josh Poole, great grandchildren: Keely, Chandler, Emma, Jacob, Sebastian, and Izabella; brother: Leroy Poole and wife Barbara; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, November 8, 2021 at Twin Harbor Worship Center, with Reverend Tommy Blackwell officiating.
