Louise Tripp Cook, age 90 of Carthage passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. 

 

Born in Bolton, NC she was a daughter of the late Bardon Randall Tripp and Vallie Luck Payne. She worked for several years at Moore Regional Hospital in Central Supplies. 

 

She was preceded in death by her husband  Joseph “Buck” Cook;  two sons Randy and Mike Cook; brother Johnny Tripp and two grandchildren Kerry and Heather Cook. 

 

She is survived by her daughter Pam Stutts; three grandchildren Jamie Gillespie, Leslie Clapp and Bo Cook; ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. 

 

A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Friday at Red Branch Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Masks are requested in the fellowship hall. The body will lie in state at Fry & Prickett Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 – 5:00 PM.

    I will never forget your mom. It almost feels as though she was one of the first people that I remember knowing along with your dad of course.
    Our families have known each other a very long time and it has been very hard to lose those that we love so much but such a privilege to have been blessed with having them for length of time that we did.
