Margaret Carol Dutton Ashworth, 70, of Carthage, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Carol was born June 16, 1951 in Moore County, to the late Jerrell and Margaret Spencer Dutton. She was a graduate of Union Pines High School. She worked for many years in the textile industry. Carol loved her family and enjoyed time spent with them. She also enjoyed trips to the beach and always loved to care for her animals.
Carol is survived by sons: Chad Dutton (Tammy), Jeremy Dutton (Denise), Stan Faircloth (Jennifer); six grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers: Denny Dutton (Patricia), David Dutton;many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 PM, Friday, February 11, 2022, at her home.
