Sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. I am a first cousin, the daughter of Johnsie Bowman Ratliff. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Miss Harris was my teacher at Pinehurst High as a just-out-of-college graduate and will always be remembered by those of us who knew her and were in her home-room as seniors. (I officially apologize for some of the antics of my classmates!) Her memory lives on! My sympathy to her family as you mourn your loss.
