Barbara, Courtney and family, I am so sorry to learn of Johnny’s passing. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Courtney, nothing can ever take away having had a good southern Daddy.
Johnny was one of the best friends I ever had. We grew up together along with his brothers and sisters and his parents were awesome. We did a lot of fun things when we were teenagers. When I was away in the Army ,he would go see my Mom and she loved him to pieces. I was so sad when I heard he was having health problems. I just talked to him last week on the phone. He will be missed by so many. He was always the same Johnny every day of his life. So easy going and calming to be around. I loved him like a brother. Prayers for you Barbara and your children and grand children and for his brothers and sisters as well. God Bless and Comfort You All. I am going to miss talking to him so much..::::: Jim Brady

Please accept our sincere condolences, and know you’re in our thoughts now and in the days to come as you remember Johnny’s life and legacy.
We were so saddened and sorry to hear of Johnny’s passing. He was such a kind, patient, and caring man. His service to our country in the ARMY during Vietnam is a testament to his bravery and willingness to make personal sacrifice for others. Courtney, Leonard, and the grand-kids being able to move back here to spend what was undoubtedly some very special time with him and Barbara was such a blessing.
May the memories of his strength and love provide you comfort in the days ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Johnny is gone now from this earthly dwelling,
and has left behind those who mourn his absence.
Grant that we may hold his memory dear,
never bitter for what we have lost
nor in regret for the past,
but always in hope of the eternal Kingdom
where you will bring us together again.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Holding you all in our hearts.
