Allie Garrison Blue, age 91 of Carthage died Wednesday (April 1, 2015) at the home of her daughter.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Culdee Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. Joseph Washburn. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Following the service the family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall.
A native of Moore County she was the last surviving child of the late John W. and Monnie Smith Garrison. Allie worked for many years with Smithsons as an accomplished seamstress and farmer with her husband earlier in her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Blue and son Jeff Blue.
She is survived by: daughters Linda Whitesell and husband Fred of Carthage, Kaye Davis and husband Larry of White Plains, GA; son Jerry Blue and wife Gale of Winston Salem; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
