Ann Marie Heisel Grove, age 57, of Pinebluff died unexpectedly Friday (March 3, 2017) at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

 

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Tuesday at Powell Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Kevin Huff. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery.

 

Born in Phoenix, AZ to Cladie Wilson Heisel and the late Christian Heisel she was raised in Moore County. She graduated from Pinecrest High School and Pitt Community College. She also attended East Carolina University. She lived in Tampa, Florida for 20 years where she and her husband raised their two daughters. She was a special education teacher and was currently working with Sandhills Children's Center in Southern Pines.

 

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband Thomas Grove; daughters Ashleigh Thomas and husband Matt of Cameron, Morgan Grove of Tallahassee, FL; sister Gail Deese of Ashley Heights; brother Billy Heisel of Westbrook, ME and a soon to be grandson Sawyer Thomas.
