Annie Ruth Wallace Black, age 83 of 264 Plank Road died Sunday (January 6, 2008) at ManorCare of Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Brad Harrison the Rev. Fred Richardson and the Rev. Terry Burris. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Bernie Wallace and Bessie Needham Wallace. Her husband Tommy Black, a daughter Nancy Seawell and sons Junior and Johnny Seawell all preceded her in death.
She is survived by: a daughter Linda Tucker of Carthage; sister Johnnie Frye of Dillon, SC; grandchildren Belinda, Nancy, Ruth, Raymond, David, Johnny and Lynn; ten great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
