Barbara Aiko Jensen, 84, of Providence Place in Aberdeen, NC died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at her home.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the Southern Pines United Methodist Church in Southern Pines, NC with the Reverend Cleve May officiating.
She was a long-time resident of North Carolina and an avid traveler. She enjoyed singing in the church choir at Southern Pines United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jensen was also involved in her garden club and loved playing duplicate bridge.
She is survived by her two sons, Steven Jensen of Aberdeen and Chris Jensen of Cleveland, Ohio, and one granddaughter, Megan Jensen of Cleveland, Ohio.
Powell Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
