Billy R. Wallace, 77, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at his home.
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday June 4, 2020, officiated by Pastor Robert Kidd, Committal Service (public) will follow at the Wallace Cemetery.
Billy was a native of Moore County. He was a truck driver, retiring from Perdue Farms Incorporated. Billy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved God, was a saved and praying soul. He also loved caring for his small farm animals. Billy enjoyed many bike rides with his wife, Minnie. He was a son of the late Millard and Eula Wallace and was preceded in death by sisters: Thelma Jean Wallace, Lorraine Moore; brother: Paul Wallace.
Billy is survived by his wife, Minnie; children: Jackie Wallace and wife Marilyn, Marty Wallace and wife Michelle, Johnny Wallace, Tonya Sweet and husband Tommy; 7 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sisters: Sandra Williams and husband Jerry, Phyllis Andrew; many nieces, nephews and friends.
