Bonnie Lynne Wadsworth, of Carthage, died Saturday, September 23, one day before her 61st birthday.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
A native of Moore County she was a daughter of the late Robert Glenn and Annie Leslie Wadsworth. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Johnny and Mark Wadsworth and sister Mary Lou Starr.
Lynne had previously worked for Moore County Sheriff’s Department as a jailer and dispatcher. She also raised chickens for Perdue Farms.
She is survived by her two sons Bradley Wadsworth and Thomas Lucas both of Carthage; sisters Mitzi McKenzie of West End and Shirley Allen of Carthage; brothers R.G. Wadsworth of Carthage and Phillip Wadsworth of Pleasant Garden.

So sorry to heard of Lynns death, she was a good friend and will be missed. I loved to hear Lynn laugh, it was infectious. She has 2 wonderful sons of whom she was proud. My prayers to her family as you grieve.

Dearest family. I just learneod of Lynn’s passing. I am so very sorry. Just recently had her on my mind. Lynn and I were close growing up. I moved away and just lost contact. Would love to hear from y’all. Again..my prayers are with you All.
