Calvin E. Vuncannon, age 56 of Robbins died Wednesday, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. 

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Browns Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Jeff Karnes and Rev. Michael Parenti.

A native of Montgomery County he was a son of the late Bill and Janice Brookshire Vuncannon and a graduate of West Montgomery High School. He previously worked as a self employed plumber and as a Code Enforcement Officer with Moore County. 

He was preceded in death by a brother Billy Joe Vuncannon.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years Terra Ritter Vuncannon; son Jonathan Vuncannon of the home; sisters Joyce Talbert of Troy and Betty Ann Brown and husband Denny of Biscoe. 

The family will receive friends at Kennedy Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and other times at the home.
