Others have seen the strengths she had to carry on for, her Lord. We have laughed and cried together so many times. Carol Sue you given me so many cherished memories and I will never forget them. We all have lost a precious jewel. The last thing said was love you.

  19. With Sympathy and Prayers 🙏 for all the family. Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.” May God hold each of you especially close through this difficult time.

  20. Harold, Wendy, Kurt and Maybrie.

May God wrap his loving arms around you during this difficult time. We all loved Cousin #1, so much! This all seems so surreal! She fought a good fight, simply because she loved you all so much and wanted to continue to do the things she has always done for each of you. Each of you were her reasons for enduring what she did these last few years. She fought the good fight, and as she shared so many times, “I am a winner if I stay or if I go”! God continued to let her win on earth to see many of the things she longed to see, one being Maybrie graduate from high school. God, in his infinite wisdom knew she was wearing out, it was his timing. She has met the one she believed in and served. She has seen Jesus! Oh what an amazing sight! I long for that as well. Continue to cling to her legacy she left behind in each of you. She is in the heart of each of you and her memories will always remain. May God bless each of you in the days ahead, life will not be the same, but we, as God as promised will see our loved ones again. Oh, How I look forward to that day!
I loved Cousin so much, she was a big part of my entire life! We shared so much together, and we grew old together. I am blessed by her presence in my life. She taught me so much after mom died, I will miss her, but I am so thankful that she is no longer suffering and has a new glorified body. Heaven just got sweeter with her there. If there is a garden in heaven, whether it be flowers or vegetables then I am sure Cousin is either canning or planting.
Love you all and praying for comfort in the days ahead.
    Brenda Garner Cassady

  21. Carol Sue’s friendship was a gift. I enjoyed getting to talk to her and Harold at the Chicken Hut most Sundays. She was beautiful inside and out, and no matter how she felt, Carol Sue was always quick to encourage the rest of us. She was an example of Christ’s love in the way she treated others. I know that she is safe with Jesus and that means everything. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.
    Love, Lori Brewer Johnson

  22. Wendy, Kurt and Maybrie,

  23. Imagine the joy that Carol Sue is having in heaven with a wonderful family reunion and no pain and suffering! Although she had a blessed life with Harold, Wendy, and her precious family, God has a better place. We are grateful that we had the privilege in knowing Carol Sue and enjoying her sweet smile and gentle laugh. She was so proud of all of her family, especially enjoying her daughter and granddaughter. Maybrie highlighted her life! And the memories that she made with all of you will be held close in your hearts. Harold, Wendy, Beverly, and Maybrie, our prayer for you is that God will be especially close to your heart and give you peace and comfort like no other can. He loves you and will be present in those times when you need Him most. Give yourself a little grace and allow yourself to grieve our loss but also allow yourself to celebrate a life well lived by this sweet lady and the many precious memories that she made with you all. Those memories are a gift from God special just for you and you can cling to them like the treasure that they are. We will be lifting your family up in prayer. You are loved! Carol Sue is safe within the love of her savior, singing, and walking with Jesus at His heavenly home. Hallelujah!

  24. Carol Sue was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a fighter but no longer has to, God is always in control. To the family, Look to God for comfort. He is the greatest asset in our lives.
    Love you all, Rebecca Garner
