Guestbook

  1. Sam was an angel. She was unfailingly kind to me when Jim was first assigned to the 377th. Both she and Barney were always checking up on us wives of deployed Soldiers. If we needed something, Sam was the first one to help. She became a treasured friend. I will miss her kindness, her amazing sense of humor and her love.

I know you’ve already gotten your wings in heaven.

  2. Sam – we love you so much, as you loved us. You and
Barney treated me and my girls like family. I am devastated. I have been looking for you and Barney and was planning a trip to NC to find you. Every time I cross a bridge I think of you. I think especially of the time when I drove you to Titan’s baby shower. I love you and I’m so grateful and blessed to have had you as my dear friend. Selfishly, I just needed one more hug and I love you.
My condolences to Barney, Jason, and Grandbabies.
    Treamel and girls!

    • My condolences to Sam’s daughter and family as well. I know they live in Europe and Sam was overjoyed with her granddaughter and went to visit.
