Charles Elvin Luck 81, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 3, 2017, with his family by his side.  

Funeral Service will be 3 PM Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Smyrna United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with the Reverend David Woodhouse and Reverend Edwin Moore officiating.  Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Pine Rest Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2 PM and following the Committal in the Smyrna Family Life Center.

Mr Luck was a son of the late Carl and Ella Mae Luther Luck. He was preceded in death by wife, Etheleen Hussey Luck, two sons, John Britt and Mark Luck, along with five (5) siblings.

Mr Luck is survived by children: James, Mary, Martha, Sarah, Rebecca. He was blessed with  9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and many friends.

Interests of Mr. Luck included gardening and family get togethers.  Mr. Luck served in the United States Army as a Medic.  He was a dedicated, full time truck driver for 65 years, “accident free.”  Many knew Mr. Luck as “Paw-Paw”, including the many people he touched with his love and generosity.
