Charles Henry Bristoe
November 13, 1934 ~ January 15, 2015
Charles H. Bristoe, age 80 lifelong resident of Carthage died peacefully at his home Thursday (January 15, 2015).
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday at Summer Hill Baptist Church conducted by his son in law, Pastor Mark Harper. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall prior to the service beginning at 2:00.
A native of Moore County he was a son of the late William Bristoe and Minnie Sheffield. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with the NC Department of Transportation and enjoyed farming and gardening.
He was preceded in death by a half sister Rosa Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie Lee Chriscoe Bristoe; daughters Cathy Faw and husband David of Old Fort, NC; Charlona Harper and husband Mark of Advance; half sisters Etta Beale and Becky Beale; half brother Leroy Beale; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.
Fry and Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage is serving the Bristoe family.
