Charles Stone "Chuck" Underwood , age 63, of Carthage, died Friday, December 30, 2016 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held Saturday, (January 21, 2017) from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at First Baptist Church fellowship building in Carthage.
A native of Carthage, he was the son of Dr. A.E. "Buck" Underwood & Jayne Stone Underwood. He was a graduate of Union Pines High School and retired from NC Department of Transportation.
He is survived by: his wife, Jo Sheffield Underwood; brothers Dr. A. E. "Rocky" Underwood of Emory, VA, Fess Underwood (Gelynda) of Carthage; three sisters, Rosemary Paschal and Paula Cagle (Roger) both of Carthage, Bonnie Strother (Mickey)of Fayetteville.
